3rd Duke/UNC Workshop on Emotion, Evolution, and Ethics

EEE  3
Psychological, Evolutionary, and Comparative Perspectives on the Sociomoral Mind

February 18-19, 2006

Overview
In recent years, research in various empirical fields has been brought to bear on our understanding of moral psychology.  In this workshop, we will profile developments in psychology, ethology, and evolutionary theory.  Our distinguished guests include two philosophers who have done groundbreaking interdisciplinary work on the nature and evolution of social cognition, a primatologist who has made important discoveries about social behavior in monkeys, and a psychologist who has been rigorously investigating the role of emotion and reasoning in moral judgment.

Location: Caldwell Hall, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Registration:  There is no charge for the workshop, but we will need a head-count.  If you are going to attend, please send an email with a header that says ATTENDING to Alex Rosenberg (alexrose@duke.edu)
